Traditionally winter is a time for rest in this part of the world. Vata dosha and the element of air predominate in our experience, and it’s important to care for our bodies during this seasonal change.
Held on the winter solstice, our 90-minute “rest-shop” includes warming up the joints with gentle movement and self-massage. Next, we’ll relax into restorative postures with props, then find deeper stillness with yoga nidra and the soothing sounds of crystal bowls to connect us to our highest selves.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move and relax in. Feel free to bring your own cozy supports—pillow, blanket, eye pillow—or use the many props we have at the ready in the studio.
